Estelle Rubio for Forever Angels

05/11/2009 · Leave a Comment

Estelle began to get involved with the Forever Angels charity when she went to visit some of her family in Mwanza in Tanzania.
Estelle and husband Scott Maslen started by sponsoring a child and the relationship has since evolved as she is at the moment helping the charity to get celebrities involved for the Forever Angels Ball in London on the 13th Nov with the guest list growing every day, so much so that Hello! magazine are covering the event!

As for her music, we are getting closer every day, we were in the studio with her a few weeks ago and got a nice idea of how her debut Ep is going to sound, gigantic is the word, really looking forward to it! I even hear a video is on it’s way featuring some great cameo’s and Estelle as a sexy ‘1940’s private detective!

Found: A Fossil in the tube!

05/11/2009 · Leave a Comment

Bet you don’t know what this is about!
The band have actually been asked to play tracks from their debut release “Insonia” in public areas and to be even more precise to play in public transports!!! And no this is not just busking! They start their “Public Transport Tour” on the 23rd of November at Metro Santa Cecilia in São Paulo.
This is just after they have finished playing a few dates along fellow artists O Jardim das Horas, from what I hear the concerts went really well, maybe we’ll be hearing some sort of collaboration between both bands, you never know!
They also had a great time at Radio CBN for the Sala de Musica programme, did any of you hear it?

Ebinho Cardoso’s second album!

05/11/2009 · Leave a Comment

Ebinho has been gigging extensively lately, performing some truely memorable shows at the Calango Festival in Cuiaba, the Baixo Brasil Festival in Belem or during his Piri Jazz show. And when he gets some time off, well he just spends it being on the front cover of Baixo Brasil. But most importantly we have just received some news from Ebinho telling us he was just putting the finishing touches to his second album which he says has a more “pop” sound than his debut release “No Rastro dos Ruidos Remotos das Rodas da Infancia” and features some extraordinary guests, not saying anymore, you already know too much!

05/11/2009 · Leave a Comment

Yes I know, you must be thinking: “the guys at (©urve)music™ have gone totally crazy, Carlos has been working with them since 2007″. Well though I would agree, we are a bit mad, we are actually welcoming him as his new publishers! The work we have been doing together has been absolutely fantastic so this is the natural progression for us. And it’s already started strongly as we have been working on some nice new tunes for some adverts!

New: (©urve)music™ Merchandise!!!

02/11/2009 · Leave a Comment

We have been very busy lately creating a whole range of clothing merchandise with our artists. We all got together to design some really funky T-shirts and Hoodies for you to wear and even some cool Tote bags. Next time you go to one of their gigs, look out for a little stall and make yourself a nice present, and take one for your friends or family too!!! We also developed an online store so if you don’t have time at the gig, or can’t make your mind up, or spent all your money on beers, you can just calmly go home, sit down in front of your computer and pick up a nice T-shirt there!!!

New Signing: Warm Welcome to Mamma Cadela

02/11/2009 · 1 Comment

Mamma Cadela are an indie instrumental quartet from Sao Paulo which has been going since 2003, adding members to the band over the years and working hard on finding their special sound which they define as follows:
“Our musical aesthetics walk through the profanity and irreverense of Frank Zappa, the experimentalism of Hermeto Pascoal, the contemplative state of Pat Metheny, Tortoise’s descontructivism, the dreamy aura of Pink Floyd and Sigur Rós, Kraftwerk’s mathematics, the playful formality of Nino Rota in Fellini’s Soundtracks and, last but not least, through the psychedelic rock of the 60’s and 70’s.” Ever heard of something like that, I know I haven’t so I would head straight to one of their pages and have a wild listen!!!

Congratulations to Monique Maion

01/11/2009 · 1 Comment

Our lovely Monique Maion has been very busy lately.
First of all we need to officially congratulate her and make you aware that after releasing her debut album digitally in a very young and emerging market, Russia, she managed to go number 1 in the album chart and stayed there for two weeks competing with some big Pop Names!
And whilst charting in Russia, she was gigging all over the place in Brazil and with a big highlight next week as she will be playing Planeta Terra Festival alongside the like of Iggy Pop, Sonic Youth, Primal Scream and the Ting Tings!!!
A last word for her Korean fans, after a great reception to her digital release, we have decided to release her Physical album mid-December, so there’s your end of the year gift, enjoy!!!

Thiago Correa’s first appearance in the UK

30/10/2009 · Leave a Comment

If you were in London in September, I hope you managed to go down to Guanabara Bar in Central London to see our own Thiago Correa perform songs from his debut “A Grande Preocupaçao” release and some fantastic Samba-Rock versions of some very well-known tracks. It was a really good night, where he managed to fill the dancefloor with his impeccable style thanks to tracks such as “Charme” and “Tudo Bem”! If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry you can still check some of the pictures (courtesy of our very good friend Artur Curval) out at and of course listen to some of his tracks.
